CSR owner here - is there ever a situation in which it's a better deal to transfer points to hotel/airline rather than simply buy on the Chase Rewards portal with the 1.5x points bonus?

How much has stock options changed anyone’s life here? Just started at amazon and I received 1500 shares post split. But obviously the vesting schedule is so long over 4 years and morale certainly will be up and down. I feel I’d be crazy to walk away before then and miss out.

In my offer letter it stated a signing bonus to be paid on the first available payroll after my start date. Its been a month since my first paycheck and HR and the Payroll team are incredibly unresponsive to my inquiry on where this bonus is. What’s the next course of action? Legal? Luggage delay claim question

I used Chase explorer to buy tickets for my vacation and luggages were delayed for a month. Per chase term I am entitled $100 a day for 3 days. But the claim agency chase used has been asking for airlines response, which has not came (2month+ now). I am concerned insurance will use this as an excuse to never compensate. Is there a good way to handle this situation?
