CTS HR Discussion Pending:

I attended the Cognizant interview for a Java Spring Boot Microservices Developer (12 YOE). Cleared Technical, HackerRank, Managerial, and an additional Senior Manager round. Recruiter confirmed selection and said HR would call for CTC discussion, but no update yet. After follow-up, recruiter now says a client round is pending and project mapping is in progress. Has anyone faced a similar situation? Chances of getting an HR call or client round?

I do NOT want children. And yet, recently, I’m desperate to spend time with my niece and nephew. I’m panicking that this is the beginning of me changing my mind.

I’m in SF but nervous to officially come out to my friends even though I’m sure they all know/assume anyway. :(

Last night I went over to my friends house (she has 2 kids, 2 and 4 yo). She and her husband were asking me about my pregnancy and planning. And were asking what I’ve prepped to date. I’m only 13w2 days so I think it’s way to early for buying stuff, but I did mention we hired a baby nurse for when the baby comes. My friend completely berated me, short of calling me a bad mom already, saying “what is she going to do all day? Don’t you want to bond with your child?”. I’m so upset by this.
