I’m four months into my job and I got put onto a PIP. I worked so hard to break into IB, put up all the hours and even working 2am nights for weeks, learned a ton, and improved a lot along the way as the sole analyst yet this happens. I’m extra worried because it doesn’t seem there’s IB analyst positions out there. Im really hoping come January more positions come up but I’m just praying they don’t fire me until then. Have a few questions regarding IBM Joining, HR response is strangely lacking and so does in the slack(prejoin channels). Hoping can be cleared here..
a) I've been told virtual onboarding is no longer a thing.
How many days does in-person onboarding activities occur?
b) HR Informed,"After onboarding is complete, can get perm WFH based on project or extension of WFH as IBM is flexible"
Is this true? Can managers extend/grant remote for a month then let us transit to remote model?

Hello my fellow shoal of fish. I am seeking recommendations for a lounge chair in my office. I currently have the adjustable stand desk and a relatively comfortable office chair (not when reclining) but the other half of my office is empty. Im putting in a 55” tv and need a recliner, lounge chair, or something of the sorts to put in front of the tv. Something where i can put my feet up. Conference calls are such a drag when i have to sit at my desk.
