I think it's good vibes to wait for the rest of your team, especially after a return from production/pitch/meeting etc. makes it feel like we all did it together and builds bond
Love you all but we just spent ever day and night together for the past two weeks so a quick goodbye in the terminal usually covers it. No need to walk off the plane together
I wait for everyone. I’m more senior and because of the frequency of my travel, I tend to get upgraded bc of miles/airline status so I’m usually one of the first few off the plane
Depends on the team, how the meetings went, what time we’re getting in on, and what plan we agreed to before getting on the plane.
We’re all adults with lives, and personally I do not expect anybody on my team to wait unless we’re continuing to the office or need to talk explicitly about something and couldn’t on the plane.
I usually wait for everyone to get off the plane and then we hold hands, forming a circle and chanting “GOOOO TEEAAAM!!!!” as we all touch palms in the center and move them up skywards. Then we do high kicks and jumps shaking our pom-poms. Then we high-five and take selfies together before we all go on our way.
Honestly down for that
Wait. Say a proper goodbye unless your ride is waiting for you, then send a text.
Depends. I wait unless we’ve discussed it previously that we won’t. (Ie: if seats are extremely far apart, or someone has only carry on and another has checked, or someone in rush or connecting flight etc). We usually chat about it before boarding.
Leave. Every man/woman for him/herself! Though I let everyone know that’s what I’ll be doing.
I yell fire which creates a natural stampede. I wait for it to end and then slyly walk out.
Prepare everyone in advance via a painfully witty joke about how fast you will be running away.
Wait, hi-five and be on your way!
At my agency we don’t usually wait, but we always say something before we get on the plane like, “I love you guys but I’m not waiting."
As an account person, I say always wait. But creative may have a different take on it.
I set expectations up front that when we arrive at our home destination, since everyone has a different way to get home...it’s every (wo)man for themselves. That and I usually sit at the back of the plane and don’t want folks to have to wait the extra time just to say “see ya” to me. This seems to go well.
Unless you agree to split a cab with a neighbor, it’s fine just to send a group text saying “thanks, catch up in the office”...and then run as fast as possible.
My partner doesn’t wait for me. They’ve always been insanely rude though
I wait for everyone and the teams I’ve been on we wait for each other. I think it’s just to make sure everyone’s accounted for and to make sure everyone’s on their way home safe.
Sometimes it feels like it.
Usually wait for everyone
Of course you should wait. Crazy question
90% of time I wait. If I’m not going to, make that clear first.
