Hello Everyone,
I am conducting independent survey on software developers working across the globe, specifically in Europe. We designed a survey to gauge the perspective of software developers on secondment option. I wanted to reach out to invite you to participate in survey for assessing your opinion on secondment option. Thanks in advance for your thoughtful output.

I’d personally go with option 1 since my goal now is to have a good WLB. It honestly depends on what you prioritize the most. If it’s money and climbing the corporate rank, then option 2 is the clear winner. Both seem like solid options so congrats
Thank you A1. Def want some WLB, but I come from a firm where I have worked 16 hour days in regular basis, so 12 is awesome for me. I want WLB but also growth. So debating.
Appreciate the feedback though
Both are sick offers, especially only 4 yoe...good work
Thank you SM1
Personally I’d say go where you like the work, especially since comp is higher and it’s a high visibility gig. If the fortune 5 company is not in your target industry than Google makes more sense, assuming you’d want to stay in tech
I am very grateful for being here with 3 yoe :) lot of hard work and ofc luck!
Yeah maybe a good idea to keep in touch with the recruiters at Google to bounce back in the future
Cold take but visibility doesn’t matter when there isn’t upward mobility
You mean the fortune 5 option? Thank you!
Google all day.
Mck 1 - I really want to understand why Google all the way? I am genuinely curious to understand why is everyone so pro to Google? Will appreciate a detailed response 🙏🏻
