Sure I just started a new job as a project coordinator in January .
It my first job in clinical trials technology position prior to this I was in dentistry for 32 years and it’s taking me a lot to learn all the ins and outs of data analysis and some of the tech talk.
I’m very grateful to have the position because it took me 2 years to find a job! I just wish I could perform better and know my job a little more intimately.

Is it easy or difficult to go from being a consultant to a marketing role at a pharma company? All the job descriptions ask for at least 5 years of experience with brand marketing. I am not sure if consultants make the cut.

I’m a Junior product manager with a Master’s in Healthcare Management. I have been a CCA medical coder for my hospital in Oregon for 8.5 years. I have been only been doing outpatient simple visit coding and my supervisors have basically stopped me and another coworker from advancing. We don't have any room for advancement and we are basically stuck.

Recently I've been trying to get into PM but have been failing at getting interviews. Google just reached out for a PgM role. It's not product tho so I'm hesitant. What do yall think? Also is it possible to internally transition to PM at google after a while?

I managed to be hired by a really good company so naturally the impostor syndrome in me is now in full gear. Obviously, I must know things to have been hired, but I feel like there's so much I still don't know about product design. I got here through short courses and some books and articles and faking it till I made it. I am thinking to take a proper PD course now that I can afford it, if not to learn something new, then to affirm what I already know.
