Currently at a private credit fund - joined as a very early employee and helped scale the business. Now at more than 10x the AUM. Since its a small shop I've worked on IR, Asset Mgmt but primary focused on portfolio management and operations.

Finding it difficult to transition to another fund as they are focused on deal teams mostly - and I don't want to work in Ops/Middle Office.

Any advise on exits?

Sometimes the leadership does not even inform you on the status of a submitted proposal unless we win the work. I get why they are doing it but it would be great if there was an external source/website that would share this info instead of us waiting around to hear from them.

I’ve had radio silence from a small investment bank for about a week now. I’ve completed several rounds of interviews, but last Thursday the firm reposted the job I’ve been interviewing for. On Friday the headhunter said that they’re not sourcing new candidates and it’s probably just LinkedIn automatically refreshing the listing. She said they had a busy week last week but will make a final decision this week - is the delay and radio silence a bad sign or is this typical for experienced hiring?
