Looking for some honest advice. Considering an offer with SocGen B’lore for Specialist Software Engineer position with 5.5 years exp and into Tech service management. Could you please tell me a bit about following points?
- 25% of the compensation(5Lakhs) is Variable. Does company even pay 60% of it at the end of the year if you perform say 4/5 rating?
- What is an average annual hike that the firm gives?
- How is the work culture and LGBTQ inclusionpolicy? Société Générale

Sounds reasonable to see things through a while where you're at if it's a growing company. Maybe you'll stumble on unique work that really excited you or onto a career catapult.
But in any case, don't count your eggs until they hatch. If you've got the energy, no reason not to interview everywhere even if it's just to gauge your options. Large companies won't blacklist you unless you do something ridiculous or back out of a signed offer, so no harm. At minimum you'll get interview experience for a later attempt, and at maximum an offer you can't refuse.
