I’ve worked at AT&T as a sales consultant for 6 years and 8 months where we prospect, uncover, and close on leads. I’ve used Salesforce for the past 4 years during my tenure. I’ve done B2B sales where I’ve received awards for it for 2 years consecutively. Loads of troubleshooting, uncovering needs through consultative styled selling, and tech app subscriptions.
I was wondering if I have the necessary skills to transition into a tech sales role. If so, what would be the best role/fit for me?Amazon Salesforce Google @

I would stick with Data Science, the demand is so high for that skill set that you have more leverage when it comes to maintaining WLB or just moving to another company if you make a mistake and a role is not a good fit. The same may not be true for biz ops.
Sorry to not answer your question but mind if I ask how many YOE and what level you are exiting at? And also, do you have data science skills and did you use them at McK?
I have ~ 3 YOE and I would be exiting to either Sr. Data scientist or Sr. Biz ops associate.
Yes, I’m in an analytics role at McK.
