Currently looking to move to townhouse in ATL with parents. We have a paid off house in the suburbs and are looking at $550k for a townhome but would be able to rent out our house for ~$2500. This seems feasible since the rent could pay our new mortgage but property taxes are a bit scary. We would be looking at $7k per year on the townhome and $6k per year on our house. We make $240k combined (pre tax) and won’t have very much savings after the downpayment (~50k). Is this a good idea/investment?

My Last working date at Wipro is 12th of june 2022, So How tax will be calculated for the financial year 2022-2023. My CTC is 8.4L

However, it is far away, and will require 1h+ train/car commute vs. 10 min biking right now. We are scared it will bite us back at some point, although COVID helped w/ remote working being a new norm. The project will be done 2024, so I hope to have a more relax job by then. My partner’s income was excluded in the DI ratio, but if it were included we’d be well under the % threshold and can be approved to close on time regardless of the sale of my house. However our mortgage company’s underwriting team has been painfully slow in confirming if her income qualifies. She’s been at her new job 1 month after a year off. Looking for experiences/opinions on A/C options for old houses. E.g., high velocity ducts vs ductless mini splits. After being mugged and having my things (including my keys) stolen, I was locked out of my townhome after business hours on a weekend. I was told on the phone when dialing my complex’s after hours number (which is managed by a 3rd party company) that my complex’s policy would let me in for a cost of $100 (as it was after hours). After I was let in, property manager informed me the charge was $200. Is there anything I can do here? This is in Minnesota. Help appreciated!!
