I’m interviewing for final round of the entry level area manager position at Amazon. I’m working on multiple stories related to the leadership principles. Can anyone provide me some tips regarding the role?
There are 16 leadership principle and I’m thinking of creating some stories around each but the thing that concerns me is what if the questions they ask are related to the same principle and I might have already used up my stories. Something like that. Can anyone please help? Amazon
Hi all,
I'm serving Notice period and last date shall be 13th May 2022. Can someone help me understand if the bands and compensation isn't release by that date, will that be adjusted in full and final settlement?? If so, what about the components, which all shall be credited in that FFS?
Thanks in advance.

Get their range for the role first and then go from there. Don’t provide your range!
Don’t give a range when you negotiate because it shows you’re open to the low end of the range. If they make you give anything, give a hard number and stand by why you deserve that number. Agree with SC1 though. Always make them create the baseline by going first.
I’m not sure why everyone else is commenting that this is too high. For comparison, I was quoted between ~100-130 base when I had 1YOE at ATK. Also, 3YOE at most firms you’d be making ~200 all in...
Yeah but he is interviewing at a fintech company...not another consulting firm. So the real question is it a startup or is it like PayPal? Start up that would be too high, IMO. But PayPal...sure
Maybe around 100-110 would be more reasonable
Also depends on what service line / experience / skills.. but 140 seems too high
Feels high, but location and role would help
I got offers for 125 and 150 in consulting with 3.5 YOE so I think your range is aggressive but fine

What type of company are you interviewing with? I think 120-140 is quite high. Maybe FAANG company can offer that TC. Also depends on you skills and interview performance, if you think you nailed it. Def try to throw out a high number and see what they counter offer
That’s too high. Unless you have a unique skill set they desperately need
In industry, especially tech/fintech, you may be taking a salary cut in exchange for a massive equity upside.
Tell them you're negotiable on salary depending on the compensation mix. If they through decent RSUs your way, which may multiply in value between now and vesting, could absolutely be worth a bit less cash in pocket now.
Hi all! Thanks for feedback so far. Not providing a band up front was helpful in my initial discussion. Curious what advice you would give on evaluating the perk of RSUs? I’ve seen some info that suggested you can expect it to pace as a percentage of your salary based on what series of funding the company is in.
