Currently work in Tech M&A department in Big 4, Europe. I'm considering switching to EY-P, as the pay is significantly higher and the projects seem more interesting.

Totally depends on your assignment.
Mainly IT/Tech Due Diligence or Post Merger Integration/IT carve out projects work in both companies.
Believe we do more IT DD work in Big 4 compared to EY-P. Not sure though.
Similar to B4 strategy (DDV at PWC or OTS at Deloitte). At least the case in Germany
