You mean kushiest exit op. Start a green consulting firm in Colorado.

like

you're at McKinsey - you could go to a super legit PE or VC fund, without having had to work at Goldman Sachs. What a life

Yeah I'm thinking becoming a rich housewife is the move here... But also considering more legitimate options

EY, PE and VC have similar lifestyles to banking, I don't exactly consider that cushy

You can often find nice roles in industry that after a learning curve are a much much better pace than consulting

Hours are slightly better, and less weekends. You're also actually investing. Also not sure what level you are but you could go the start up route get your 3% as the business guy

OP: why don't you marry me and let us celebrate woman's lib with you being primary earner and me doing household work !!

Hi all
I started out as a graphic designer. Worked for about 4yrs in different roles. Then i started a digital design role for 2 yrs and then made my transition into ux. i have been in a ux role for 5 years. But i want to steer my career towards something more creative. Like in 5-10 years I wouldn’t want to be a specialist or a ux director. I d like to be an art director or creative director. I love branding & marketing but also product. Would love something that allows me to do both?

Exited M level consulting for a f500 D role in the $250-$300 range. Early 30s now - comp seems relatively standard for that level and YOE.

What’s the best way to get a significant bump? Stay where i am and try to angle my way into a higher level, or are there places where i could be doing much better?

Kids are expensive lol so trying to figure out how best to make more.

Base salary: 120k

Sign-on bonus:10k

Bonus: 15%

No stock options

How competitive is this, and what should I negotiate for please? The written offer comes after verbal agreement.

I've 10 YOE in tech project management; 7 in product management.

M/SM and above, why do you label a meeting as “touch point” or ask if you can have a “quick chat” when it’s something serious? But at my new job, my boss asked for a “quick chat” to literally ask me to change the title of a meeting and then chat about christmas. Now that I’m in management, I want to understand it better.
