I have received offer from Wipro which is little above than the offer that I am holding but fixed pay is less. Thinking of rejecting Wipro offer. Is it better to reject or accept and then not join. Also if I reject, will there be any issue like they won't consider me in future?Tata Consultancy Wipro Cognizant Infosys
What will be the inhand salary at tcs on 10 lpa
Hi all, I just got a job offer at PwC for a senior consultant position. The salary is 30% above my total comp right now, but I’m just worried about the amount of work I will have to put in compared to my amazing work life balance now. Does anyone have any experience moving from industry to consulting? I need some advice on what to do. I’m still early in my career (1.4yoe) so I feel like I shouldn’t care too much about wlb, but at the same time, I don’t want my mental health to suffer either.
New to gds. is today salary day? Or tomorrow?

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

It seems all the firms are trying to sit on cash given the looming recession rather than handing out big pay bumps
Partnerships can not hold that much cash. Must be distributed at year end.
Sounds like the PwC after our end of year talks 😂
What’s happening? They all getting bumps to match their egos?
Apparently not
Equity Partner/Principal comp up 10% and they had “a great year”
The rest of us are averaging 3-5% raises (not including promotions)
(And by comp, I mean their distributions, but still)
Not true. We had higher headcounts and so bottom line growth was less than 2%.
Lots of comp drama. It's Armageddon in the D Bowl.
Hey the Big XII has 10 teams, and the Big10 has 12 teams, so the Big 4 could have more firms, right?
It’s their cyclical PAR(Proactive Attrition for Recession). Until they end up losing their good folk and have to hire massively when they realize again that recession can be counter cyclical for all of Consulting (except for this Digital thing and massive ERP money pits).
IMHO depends. Any sign of a recession, clients normally duck and cover. This means canceling ERP projects that don’t deliver value anyway but also cut digital projects & capital expenditure which may impact Slalom and give operating control to unit cost optimizing procurement that will push work offshore (see other thread offshore often is higher TCO but procurement can rarely piece it together)
I can’t find this specific D bowl, there’s hundreds of em ?
A lot of people don’t seem to be Deloitted about their comp
