I have a few LPs to cover where my stories are not solid before my loop on Monday. Feeling a little demotivated because I felt I had more time to prepare. Don't plan on asking for extension.

I am trying to break out of being a channel-specific marketing manager (email marketing, app, SMS) in a CPG/clothing Fortune 500 company. My career goal is to work remote & break into total brand strategy. Initially I'm applying for job titles like: Associate Brand Manager, Sr. Brand Specialist, CRM Manager. If you were to launch a new product campaign for a beverage in Feb/March, would you focus on spring/summer imagery or more oils that feel too premature? What cultural/timing things would you take into consideration?

I am looking to leave my current position due to not having the opportunity to run campaigns and earn experience.
However, every interview I get asked about the campaigns that I have run.
This is starting to feel like a closed loop. Any ideas are appreciated.

I do create some personal campaigns and do social media content on LinkedIn for my personal profile. That is why I get a high number of interviews but I stumble at the starting line.

I’ve noticed on Glassdoor, salaries for my level (Director) are higher than my base but have similar bonus opportunity. At what level of pay gap would you push or make a stink? In hindsight I should have pushed more during the hiring process. At 160k base now, seeing ranges in the 170s to low 180s. These are specific to my current company.

I keep seeing people sharing about side hustles that they turned into a brand or an entire company. I'd love to do this, but I feel like I'd worry about time management and making everything work with two schedules. Has anyone in here successfully scaled their side hustle? Or is anyone trying?
