Dear big four competitors; how is your RPA practice doing? And how has it faired post COVID?

RPA is normally used to automated bad / dated / manual processes. Given that many bad / dated / manual processes are being automated or phased out through modernization, there is little room anymore to RPA legacy processes.
In order to grow RPA, some big 4 competitors are pushing SAP deals (many SAP processes
are designed requiring automation from day 1)or otherwise designing processes with enough manual steps that need automation from day 1.

The market disagrees with you, RPA is growing in its intelligence and the capabilities of the software platforms. Every other week it feels like there is a step forward that opens new use cases up due to improved capabilities. We’re Selling more more than we ever were and 70% of it is stand alone.

Hi Friends,
Me and my girlfriend both live in the same city, working from home, living with our respective families.

Before covid and wfh, we were in gurgaon and we used to go to each other's places to have some "private time"

It looks like a distant luxury now.
Any ideas of what can be done? Anyone facing a similar issue who got any resolution?

Hello Fishes,

I have received an offer as SD1 at Amazon Gurgaon. I have 1 yr and 6 months of experience. I did my BTech in computer science from 2016-20. I had some active backlogs as well. Due to covid, many exams were not conducted and as for the ones that did happen, the results are taking forever to come. Right now I have one backlog and the result is yet to be announced. I am positive I will pass. Will this affect my offer from Amazon during background check as I am yet to receive degree?

I am currently a year from finishing my PhD and was looking at VC's as a career path because I like to do meta-analysis of different climate change techs. I networked with VCs and one of them was receptive but didn't have the budget currently for a full time hire. They said they'd be interested in working with me to do a research paper over the coming semester, and was wondering if I could leverage this into a full time offer?

Is a white paper with a VC going to be attractive on my CV?
