Tax life, in the office 90% of the time. Got my gym across the street
Also, been working out in the morning for years now. It's the only way be consistent since we never know what time were going home
@OP - You dont need a better routine, you need a better job.
Try the 5am life. Probably will suck for you for a week or two but you’ll get used to it
Agreed with Tax Manager 1, doing it in the morning is the best way to stick to it. It’s the only time you can control. Also know that PwC does have a program to reimburse gym fees for travel so pick a gym nice and close. Best of luck! It’s a battle worth fighting
Background, I use to lift 4 times a week even during busy season at a smaller firm. Now I’m at big4 and find myself at clients often where I can’t leave in the middle of the day and come back in sweatpants to work. Not sure if I can handle waking up at 5am
So the situation I’m in is that I go to clients in the same city as my office. Since I can’t go to the gym and return to the client site in sweatpants i find it hard to get to the gym. Generally I leave work at 9 and get home at 11. Since I need to wake up at 6:30 to get to work on time I usually go right to sleep after I eat or something. Generally I get 6 hours of sleep so going to the gym at 5am is too much for me. Any suggestions
Is there anyway you can take an hour or so during the day instead of lunch and get it in? Maybe alternate days?
So that’s what I use to do but at a client site I’m not close enough to my normal gym. Also, 1 hour isn’t enough to workout and shower so I can smell good enough to go back to client site if I did find a gym. If I’m in the office, I can work out and wear my gym clothes cause most ppl are gone. That’s why I feel I’m stuck
