Deeply confused by a company's hiring process. They invited me to an interview 2 weeks in advance due to their deadlines. The hiring managers told me they were impressed and one responded to my thank-you email. But I was also told they just started searching.

When I asked their HR for an update due to talks elsewhere, they said they didn't have a decision yet. And they responded fast, but admitted they don't know how long it'll take.

So, what's up with that?

How bad is it to sound shaky during the case interview? I got everything right and nailed the math but I feel like I sounded like I was about to cry even though I was confident 🤦🏻‍♀️

I had a job interview for a role that I really want. The hiring manager scheduled me for an interview and did not show up. Emailed me an hour later stating that he got super busy and couldn’t attend, and would like to reschedule. This is a major red flag, but I can’t help but feel that I am missing out since this role pays 50% over what I currently make. Should I let the recruiter know? What’s your take on this?

I quit. Found a role as social media specialist. Realized (again) that I hate social media.
