Deloitte is urgently hiring for TS/SCI cleared (or SCI eligible) technical roles within our Defense, Security & Justice (DS&J) sector in the DC metro area. Particularly folks with 2+ YOE as a data scientist, full stack developer, policy & requirements manager, scrum master, database developer, or data governance specialist. Reach out to me ASAP if interested so I can assess your candidacy and, if experience and clearance aligns, pull you in the door!

You're about a month late. We underpay anyway and won't be getting good talent because of it.

Thanks for sharing! Would be important to assess how difficult it was for them to get offers for the other companies. Either way it’s clear that D needs this skillset and is urgently hiring right now so at the very least my post is still advantageous to anyone who doesn’t yet have an offer in hand elsewhere.

What kind of work is involved being a full stack developer at Deloitte

An excellent question - I’m not tied into the specific project/client details, only the hiring broad need. I can certainly ask for more specific details if you’re genuinely interested, though there will be info limitations due to nature of work. I have to imagine something similar to this role, though much more related to Defense/Intel. https://jobsus.deloitte.com/washington-dc/full-stack-developer/3EE71A94EE374E95B7BD5061D034DB0D/job/

I’m 36, earn 100k and I work maybe 30 hours a week, and I’m a shining star. It allows me to enjoy life without stress. I can linger around and see myself (slowly) climbing the ladder. But part of me wants to put in hard work and grow a lot in my career and earn more for a stable financial future, but it means I’ve got to work more and stress more and I’m worried I won’t get time to relax and enjoy my life as before. But also I’m worried I’ll slack off. Anyone going through this? Would I regret?

Hi Tax Bowlers, I'm an experienced associate (2yrs) in a Big 4 Transfer Pricing division. I have reached a point in my career where I am considering taking up a professional certification. Several colleagues recommended taking up either ACCA or CFA, however, I see little connection between these certifications and the work that I am currently doing, and what I plan to do in the future. What would you guys suggest? Would it be detrimental to my career if I did not take up any certifications?
