Hey folks, Currently working in Deloitte USI as Analyst at 8.75 LPA in a GPS project skillset (.Net SQL), what kind of raise can I expect if I get promoted to Consultant this year? Also, what's a realistic hike if the promotion doesn't come through? My performance ratings are VSA.

Advice: my firm incentivized associates to get licensed in fed courts - 4 fed courts for a 5k raise. They also covered the admission fee. I just accepted an offer with another firm and will be putting in my 2 weeks notice tomorrow. Is it wrong to submit an expense report for the charges I incurred related to the fed court admission fees? I didn’t plan on moving to another firm; the new firm sought me out and made me an offer - the process happened so fast. I want to be professional about this.

I asked for a raise in April 2022 after three years with my company. Positive feedback since day one. Learned I was making less than peers at other asset managers in NYC with less experience (14 years). Latest conversation was with HR about how they calculate salaries. I’ve been asked to provide examples how my role has changed since I started to justify the increase. Is this normal? Or is this just their way of denying my request?

What should be the salary for Manager / Sr Manager having 14+ yoe in project/product service operations? I am at 32 lpa which I think is quite low having worked with top consulting firms for close to 12 years.

Has anyone received equity as contingency comp? I have a potential client with a founders dispute. He doesn’t have cash, and the other founder ripped him off and is now running the company. He wants to sue for equity and wants to pay me with whatever equity he wins. I’ve never done a deal like that. Is that even enforceable? CA law. The startup is actually quite promising.

Infosys is not providing me my relieving letter as I left the company during probation. I worked almost for 8 months, served my notice period, return the joining bonus. I have received full and final settlement. HR is directly denying to provide my relieving letter. She said it comes under abandonment. Please suggest. Is Uno minda a good company to work for ?

I feel like Spiderman. I have no friends left after moving to my hometown due to pandemic and no one to date also. My parents keep me as a child meddling with my personal life, interfering with who I talk to or not.

Should I try to move to office location and quit this WFH once for all. I am extremely unhappy and feel no freedom though my rent and food cost is getting saved by staying.
