Hey folks, Currently working in Deloitte USI as Analyst at 8.75 LPA in a GPS project skillset (.Net SQL), what kind of raise can I expect if I get promoted to Consultant this year? Also, what's a realistic hike if the promotion doesn't come through? My performance ratings are VSA.

An agency I freelance for wants to hire me full-time. They told me for a Sr Copywriter, 100-110k. I countered with 125-150.

I also said I'm interested in a higher-level title - I currently freelance as a Creative Director of Copy elsewhere (they don't have that title at this agency.)

They came back and said yes to the title and to 125, with a 6 month review that could raise it to 145.

Which is good for Sr Copy, but low for CD/ACD level. Don't want to screw myself over. What to say now?

Which company is better in terms of job security, work life balance. That's the top most factor I am considering. Learning and project and latest niche technology is the other important factor after first 2 factors .

Have any of you taken "low bono" clients while working at a firm? I want to take on a low bono client or two but not sure who would get the money. This is a contract opportunity through a non profit so I'm assuming a 1099 will be issued. The per hour rate is significantly less than my billable rate. I gave a coding test on a potal with hr monitoring , but the portal had lots of issues , I couldnt do a Sysout to check the values , I couldn't run my testcases , in the end I had to use my own environment and make things work in last 5-10 mins.I received a rejection from their process for 1 year now.I have requested the recruiter for a re-test with a technical engineer present if same issue arises but I doubt they will accept it , what could I do next ? Don't wna miss out on this one
