Did Deloitte stop the PERM process I have 2 years left on my H1B. My GC process was initiated early 2019. Still perm has not been filed. Law firm says they cannot provide update and keeps changing the timeline of perm filing. They said they will file in end of February, then said mid March and now they’re saying end of April. Should I accept offer from other firm who will start in the next 6 months? Appreciate the advice

Does it matter if I don’t meet the specific job requirements when transferring H1B? The job posted requires CPA license but I haven’t got it. The employer is still willing to hire me. I know for PERM process, meeting minimum requirements is important but not sure if H1B have such requirement. I heard that for H1B as long as it’s a position requiring bachelors degree and specifically occupation that should be fine. But kinda worried about this.

Why if you are on H1B is so much problematic for vendors looking for contractors ? Vendors keep on asking to join on W2 rather that Corp to Corp although for employees on H1B we cannot join on W2 due to immigration issues. Point being does it matter for end client , if the contractor is coming as W2 or not ?
