Hello folks, I am on H1B and my spouse is on H4 EAD. If I am changing employer what will happen to H4 EAD ? Will it be invalidated ?

If we go there, she will have a work assignment. But I won't have any work assignments in Canada.

My total experience is 6.5 years and my current ctc is 10.6 Lakh and i work in servicenow domain. I have got h1b but stamping is in october. Should I wait until then or is it better to switch. Please provide your valuable suggestions.

Why if you are on H1B is so much problematic for vendors looking for contractors ? Vendors keep on asking to join on W2 rather that Corp to Corp although for employees on H1B we cannot join on W2 due to immigration issues. Point being does it matter for end client , if the contractor is coming as W2 or not ?

In the present scenario, what's a better option for current students b/w two for job opportunities (considering visa sponsorship challenges) aspect: 1) study on f1 and then avail cpt/opt for job
2) study on h4, apply for h4 ead (assuming their spouse already has an approved i140) and look for jobs.

Since EAD is on the verge of going away, what are you guys thinking about doing next?
