Director roles at Facebook, i see different years of experience required from different teams. What is a typical director role at FB like in terms of teams they manage, TC range, and YOE required?

I was just talking to a younger friend who goes to Cal and It seems like the kids these days hate FAANG or at least Amazon and Facebook are not desired at all. I personally don’t see too many issues working at either Amazon or Facebook because I work at Deloitte where I’m sure we have many questionable clients and worked in financial services before. Curious on whether people are thinking about the ethics of their exit company when deciding to move?

Does PWC US division have good data engineering projects, which Includes Cloud services? I have an offer for a spark developer, but I think it's with the on-premise cluster. I would like to have an opportunity to work with cloud services.

HR says they will provide opportunity to work with cloud services, But during my technical discussion they confirmed that its for on primise clusters.

So I was a 5th year associate in nyc making 100 k a year 2k billable hours.. I decided to leave for the role Im in now.. my old countered to keep me at 115k (which was like pulling teeth for them) but I left anyways now I find out that they offered a 7th year 150 k and a partner title should I be offended that they didn’t even try more with me

Got rejected again by Facebook. Reason they rejected me is because other applicant did slightly better on the technical interview. Feeling like shit. Any advice?

I recently did a job interview and I made it clear to the HR my expectation salary is 60k a year, non negotiable.
Today I got the job offer and they are offering me 54k. My current company is making me 50k with tons of benefits which is why I am asking for 60k.

I have been selected at citi but HR is unable to release offer letter. This is because I have worked for citi as contractor or consultant in past but I don't remember my SP ID or GP ID which Citi provides to its temporary employees. So had to do this for a while

Going into final round/loop interview with Amazon and nobody has asked my TC expectations or told me the target for the role yet. Is that standard? Is there a chance one of the loop interviewers will ask me about it?

Had a 4th interview Friday with a ~300 person start up that I thought went well (along with all of the interviews). Haven’t heard anything since so have been anxious, just saw on LinkedIn that today a new VP of the department I’m interviewing for was hired/started. Thinking they’ll want me to meet him and that’s why they hadn’t reached out until he officially started. Does that make sense or am I just over thinking it?😣
