They’ve extended an offer to someone and are waiting for them to accept/reject it before giving you a decision.
Yes common courtesy unless they told you to expect it. I think it’s hot garbage when a company doesn’t seem to acknowledge or respect the time & effort an interviewee has invested of their own.
Also good & fine & encouraged to send a follow up if you haven’t already
How long ago?
Agree with SA1 on following-up. Don’t quite agree with the former without first knowing how long ago you interviewed. Sometimes these processes take time (busy hours, difficult to debrief candidates, many candidates I pipeline) hence it is more fair to wait before contacting the people who have interviewed
Whoops, guess I missed that. Still 2w feels acceptable to me imho, I would follow-up in the coming days!
