Anyone with recent experience recruiting for Boston Consulting Group? Got in touch with a recruiter through referral, was directed to submit an application and already finished my pymetrics. Anyone know when I would be able to hear back and what the hiring timeline looks like? Recruiter suggested to get back in a few weeks but isn’t it too slow? McKinsey sent me an invite for 1st interview in a few days after they received my referral.

Only hotels…and rates are super good. Flights don’t work like B1 says…indeed the rates at face value are higher (full flex bla blabla) but the firms get huge discounts at the end of the year.
Huh? Fixed costs are budgeted and included in project economics…no variable cost for the client
It might be just me and a European perspective, but my impression is that corporate travel is mostly a huge scam. I’m usually able to get better prices than our corporate travel platforms when I book through regular retail channels.
Same. If you book direct through the airlines, you can often get a much better price than corporate travel.
The hotel discount (especially at Marriott owned hotels) can be significant sometimes. And yes, you can use them for personal travel. I've heard that occasionally they may ask you to send them an email from a Bain email address to confirm that you actually work there.
