Hey everyone, I'm currently getting my undergraduate in Finance/Risk Management with a comm minor with hopes of law school immediately after grad. Thoughts on getting fed government jobs? I'm a first year associate in a specialized transaction group in DC and I fucking hate it. I had an internship at a federal department in school but after that went 2L SA/firm. Any hope of finding something? Right now my plan is to just start spamming USAjobs and hope something eventually sticks.

Thoughts on recording meetings. In Texas and have ADHD. I’ve been recording internal meetings for the past couple of weeks and my work product has improved exponentially. I’m able to go back and listen to the directions over again. In law school I had a note that gave me permission to do this. Is this taboo in a firm?

Do people proactively begin finding work when they know they may be low on work soon? Or do they just wait until they actually don’t have enough work to fill their days? Have a larger project that is winding down and my main case is slowing down a bit so I anticipate potentially needing to find more work soon, and I was unsure if that was something I needed to worry about.
