Does anyone know what these black dots are?

My base loc is Bengaluru, but currently I am not mandatorily required to work from office, and have been working from home since I joined Deloitte in July. Should I talk to my manager and go back to my hometown Kolkata and work from there? Staying in PG all day and working from here is not quite feasible for me. Suggest pls. Deloitte India

It’s like a bs filler statement for when you’re dead on the inside and you have nothing in common with the people that you work with. That’s the reason why I say it at times haha
Our HR partner says it - really for any day. I think she actually means it, too.
That’s no way to live.
Rising Star
Its sarcastic
Yeah I guess it can be, but I see people say it as a greeting in an email to a client lol
They are wishing you a good day, but that day happens to be Monday.
It’s usually a bit sarcastic mixed with trying to get people a little amped up for the week.
Contrast with a happy friday, which is universally considered a great day and usually less sarcastic.
I've always intended it with a tinge of "Kool-aid Sarcasm" — like, "we're supposed to pretend like we're having a great time at our jobs, and I want to open my email with a salutation that doesn't make us both look dead inside, so here's an ironic kind of greeting that's fairly sarcastic, but maybe it gives you a little dopamine hit that helps you cooperate with the questions I ask in the email"
who on earth would say such a horrible thing
I had a buddy last night ask me “you ready for work tomorrow”
Like bruh why you gotta do that

As opposed to “I know none of you wants to be here but here we are coz we all got bills to pay. So deal with it”?
I use this 😂 and not sarcastically! I like to think it brings a bit of energy to the email, am I wrong?
Yes! I mean it.
I use it but I sure as hell don't mean it. I just need some sort of cheerful greeting
I see Happy Monday as - Happy I have a job to be at on Monday?
Only if you are a Jets fan lol.
I use it as sarcasm but also to try and manipulate myself into thinking I can make it through Monday.
Got bills to pay, can’t hate every minute of the day if I want to survive
Me because I am PTO
I used to at some point in my career
