As an ADC applying this summer for 2022 start, I haven’t gotten a chance to connect with any L.E.K. Consulting fish out there willing to spare a few minutes to chat about their work, the company, the culture etc? Thanks!

Pay. Those. Bills.
Bills.
I don't think anyone would hire me to do the things I truely enjoy. I tried.
For some reason, traveling and rating places or people seems to need a bacholor's or master's degree.
Art, I can see wanting a degree in the arts so you dont hire someone that can't do what you need, so no real complaints there.
Cleaning (like no people interaction, just point and make gorgeous) is too inconsistent in pay amounts and time lines.
Data entry and things like that are sooooo packed with freelancers that they shouldn't even be listed as employment options.
So yeah, I work where I can get enough money to pay the bills (and in this economy, I'm grateful I can pay the bills with this job.)

It’s mostly for the bills. If I could get paid to do anything I enjoyed this wouldn’t be it. That said, it’s not a terrible gig. I’ve done a lot less enjoyable things as a job.
You guys are able to pay your bills??
Ironically; you're the definition of the person we're all fighting for to get higher wages; payment to eat that day shouldn't come from or affect you being allowed to live to see the next day.. people choose to do that to you, and we all know it ain't right.. but they're allowed to do it anyways. Worst yet, your type of job is paid less because of jealousy alone.. we all know the cook and the manager should be paid enough to stay, because no food means no business.. but the same people don't realize if you don't have a server then people never come back. It won't ever click until they're out of business- oh wait, they still wont get it. Sad reality, good luck man.. keep strong.
Pay those bills.
Pay the bills
I absolutely love my job, my company, my store manager, the product & the non toxic environment. 3 miles from home. My company, Pendleton, does not discriminate. I work for less money, for these benefits. I am in my 4th year now. I have worked in toxic environments, for lots more money, but this is so much better. I do write down 3 things, I am grateful for, each day. This really helps me have an attitude, of gratitude. I highly recommend doing it.
Pays the bills
i like eating
I loved my job. Travelling the globe and making drinks.
Both, always both; if I didn't like it I would've turned em down the moment I looked at the application; that being said, I've done military so everything looks like a fun job aside from jobs very clearly designed to get you fired as soon as possible.. avoid those or apply while you work there because otherwise you'll be looking again anyways once that 1 coworker that's actually the boss reporter decides to start actually putting in complaints about things you weren't even in charge of or that they caused; and yes I've tried pretty much flat applied to most everything that would pique my interest and only job I'd say just avoid is MLM's unless you got the money to survive the few months before you get up and running..(if it says you get your own team, note if the pay is acceptable as it will be your only pay for a while.. the commission doesn't exist for a while until you get everything they need and it will be 1 month minimum.)
My job enables me to do the things I enjoy
Bills
I really enjoyed my job but it was eliminated last July.
I actually love my job.

I enjoy my job but it’s more so the fact that I know I’m doing something difficult for most and being successful at it.
