I have 6 YOE in. Net+Angular and got an offer from Legato Health Technologies with 20 LPA Fixed, i joined Infor just 11 months ago with 12LPA Fixed and i will get the hike in August. If i resign now i will not get hike and i am a critical resource in the project, i guess Infor might try to retain me by matching offer. What should i do? Should i resign ASAP and not negotiate with Infor . I have all these doubts because Infor is a product based company.
Is it me or did they just scrap the DOL law?

Show your current title/level and that’s it. You don’t need a “promotion tree”. Nobody should care what your level was 3 years ago.
Keep your resume punchy and succinct.
I just show my current title. I can see there being value in showing progression and time in role if early in your career
I don’t list every single promotion, since I want to reduce overall resume length, but for recent or important promos, it’s evident by title progression. I don’t list it explicitly though
But then there’s a difference in being a senior manager for 5 years versus only 1 bc other 4 years was way junior

On the contrary, I showcase my demotion to keep ‘em on their toes.
I show my last title and years I was there. I let them think I was a manager for 8 years.
I'd keep my resume short. For people within 6-7 years of work experience, it may make sense to show promotions. Beyond 6-7, you just want to show your current rank and sell your experience because at that point, nobody cares about when you got those ranks.
