Anyone have experience working CWX side of Facebook (Meta) ? These are the full time contract roles that potentially turn into permanent roles directly with Facebook (Meta). Had a recruiter reach out and offering me comparable TC and such, just curious if anyone has experience in these roles and success/failure of transitioning into permanent role. Thanks in advance!

No, certainly never embarrassed, but I also don’t share my income, even with family. As for my team, I walked in their shoes and paid my dues. The level of pressure and responsibility is tenfold at this level.
No. With great responsibility comes a slightly higher salary. Since I am responsible for their work -- good or bad -- I try to ensure they succeed. If they succeed, they will be promoted and get raises. The portrait I have hanging in the attic will probably fail at some point and one of them will someday take my place. The company's salary schedule is fair. They realize that and I am impressed with their dedication to their jobs.
Yes. Especially when I know how tough it is for them when they have many financial responsibilities like family and they are barely getting by. The way I work through it is by advocating for them even if they aren’t advocating for themselves well enough. Especially women on my team because we traditionally are not good at recognizing our value and asking for what we deserve compared to our male counterparts. I have, in the background, gotten large raises for my reports (both indirect and direct) that were not asked for because I wanted to keep them happy and I knew they deserved more. They will stay forever if they know you’ve got their back. And that extra effort and advocacy, in addition to the responsibilities I have as a senior manager, help me to validate my compensation.
No. But I started at the bottom of the bottom and worked my way up painfully.
Agree with the P1. I know I am underpaid
No.
No
No. Willing to bet in under paid compared to some of the men.
Never. I work to make sure they are paid well too.
No, never, I’ve worked hard to earn that money. But I also fight hard to make sure my reports get what they deserve.
Never. Earned every penny and use where I am to mentor other up and coming women that they can do it too. And I will tell you, you think any of our guy colleagues are embarrassed or guilty? No way. In fact, they will let us take all the guilt so that we continue not to aggressively push for the money we deserve while they push for more for themselves.
Bad? No. BUT I do empathize and I’ll fight for people to get raises or promotions when they are top performers. I’m not a fan of hoarding good workers. If they are doing their bit they need to be compensated and rewarded accordingly.
Nope not at all. I make way more than my reports and I don't feel bad because I started where they are. I had to work, claw, and climb my way up this ladder so I know I deserve every penny of what my salary is now.
