Yes, even after being hired, employees may become dissatisfied with their new job or discover that it falls short of their expectations. Communication with the employer is essential for finding solutions that can improve job satisfaction.

Yes, we have definitely had candidates come back to us after being hired in a different company. Unfortunately, it's not uncommon that a job doesn't end up being what a candidate expected.

Yes, I have one now. They are making them go in 3 days a week and she can’t do that! This is normal in staffing…….. how long have you been in staffing for?

Yes that happened to me a month ago. They wanted better wlb but it was worse at the job they moved to and now they want to come back. I said I would see what I could do but no guarantees.

Yes, this does happen from time to time. We always encourage our candidates to ask as many questions as possible throughout the interview process to ensure that they know exactly what they are getting into.

Yes, this happens quite often. Many candidates come back to us after being hired elsewhere because they find that their new job wasn't what they expected or they are unhappy with their current employer's culture.

Yes, we have had candidates come back after being hired in a different company. That's why we strive to make sure that every candidate has a good understanding of the job they are applying for before they accept an offer.

If a candidate is unhappy with the job they accepted, we encourage them to reach out to us and see if there are any other opportunities that might better suit their needs. We are always open to discussing potential opportunities with past candidates.

I was supportive of Lori when this virus first started but her actions since have dwindled my support of her. I don’t expect her to make every decision correct nor do we have to agree with all of them. I believe she should be correct around 75 percent of the time but I believe she is in the 50 percent range. I know everything doesn’t fall on her shoulder but things haven’t been great as of late. Hopefully they figure out something soon.

Hi All,

I joined a competitor company due to toxic boss in June 2022 which my previous company has got idea about and have still not recieved F&F money and experience letter since 3 months.
In the offer letter it was written that I am prohibited to join competitor company after resigning but I got to know from sources that such contracts don't hold any relevance. I am waiting for 10 more days as HR told me it is in process and then planning to file complaint in labour court. Suggestions please?

Hi Guys, Currently in the process to apply for Us/Uk tax consultant role with Deloitte UK, this is experienced hire role not a fresher. Can someone give me an idea as to what is the average pay scale for this role? The estimates on Glassdoor seem quite low for London, considering the cost of living and such.

Had 3 rounds of interviews for a job that starts in January. So i checked in with the recruiter and now she wants to schedule a “call” next week. What does that mean? Would they tell me I’m not getting an offer?

Any best practices on what has worked to streamline recruiting processes for devs?

2nd stage of our interview process is a technical challenge and a conceptual discussion (system design)

Do any of you have experience with structuring a technical challenge to where it's the same for each candidate? I've had it happen where our devs asked questions to each candidate based on their lived experience vs. a standard set of questions that revolve around what needs to be performed in a dev role.

I’ve recently left my job (unhappy with it) and am applying for new work. I have a few irons in the fire at the moment. I’m curious about a trend I am seeing: I like to think I’ve well documented my abilities and functions in my CV, as well as my portfolio. I’ve noticed that for some of these jobs that I can check every single box in the job description, I won’t even get an interview. I’m wondering if many of these jobs are posted for internal hires, but some stay open for weeks. What gives?

Any in house tech recruiters for consulting firms? What does your comp look like? Looking to see what my comp compares to for L1 recruiters.

Hi fishes, my friend recently had a bitter experience with Dish Network. So her profile was shortlisted and they asked few questions over email. It did take good 2hrs to answer and she replied back. HM said we are good to go for interview and sent an invite. On the day of interview nobody turned up, neither they gave an update later. She did follow up for a couple of days but no response. Is there any reason why this happens ? Me being in HR field felt this to be a little unprofessional.

Hey 🐟🐟

I’m hiring a Technical Recruitment Lead for our team. We’re a health technology company with offices in Canada & the US. We’re nearly 900 employees and reached 700Mil in revenue this year. Our sights are set on reaching unicorn status in the next few years 🦄. We’re privately held with a possible future IPO so it’s a great time to join at the right time if you’re interested in helping fuel the growth to take a company public.
