Hii Guys, Could anyone give me some clarity on the below point. I have cleared 2nd round of technical interview at Deloitte, but my candidature is still showing as interview in progress at Deloitte careers page. I had a discussion with HR on this and she told me that next process is pending from management side. It's been almost 10 days since from 2 nd round of interview. How much more time does it gonna take, any idea? Or is it normal. Please help me with this 🙏🙏 .Deloitte
Have my closing interview with Accenture next week. So far the Director and MD I have met with have both liked me and the recruiter has said that they have both given me a thumbs up and that the upcoming closing interview with the MD is just a conversation. From my research I’ve also read that it’s just a sanity check to make sure I’m not a nutcase. Of course anything can happen, but I’m expecting an offer. (Cont)

As someone who specializes in Talent Acquisition and is a certified HR pro - this info does not affect your application. As a matter of fact, it holds companies accountable. This is info for the EEOC to use. If they ever decide to perform an investigation or audit a company, these demographics will show them if a company has adverse impact on hiring. They can use this data to see if discrimination during the hiring process has happened. I put my info in all the time.
Exactly, some black ppl always see it as negative which is weird. One minute it’s black girl magic the next it’s I’m not saying I’m black. Instead of seeing positive. Not saying anyone here I’m speaking in general.

I check Black/African American . I don’t see what’s the difference when they see me on camera/in person
Especially, since most ask for the LinkedIn as well.
I recently applied for a role that asked for my sexual orientation, not gender, sexual orientation. Thought it was weird but I gave them what they needed. I also refuse to force myself in to spaces where I am not openly and warmly invited and wanted. If you don’t like black/queer people, please don’t make me your token and have me suffer for a check. Throw my resume in the trash. Please. 😅🤷🏾♀️
Yeah, that's how I think about these things too. I always check the box.
No, I usually select "two or more races" rather than just black/african American (I mean... they can't ask for proof!). I have been doing this for a year and a half.
Sometimes it’s a DEI hire so why not. If you see it as bad that’s the energy.
Yes I do & no I don’t think about it. I’m black & I’m proud. I read more in person at the interview.
Absolutely I do. And no it doesn’t. The recruiter nor HM see it
This^. A similar question comes up every few months. Not sure why people think hiring managers and anyone outside of HR Ops has this info or that it's associated with their name. It's not, and it's illegal for 99% of company employees to have access to this aggregated information. There are laws to ensure this and it would be a pretty quick audit risk that would attract federal attention and repercussions.
As a recruiter, usually that info goes to two different places!
Wait… can you elaborate please? What do you mean?
Always - if it’s going to negatively impact me, I probably don’t want to work there…
