Yes. Raise taxes on the wealthy, over turn the Trump tax cuts (his only major legislative accomplishment in 4 years btw) and make the big investments in health care, education, and infrastructure we so desperately need.
He’s going to raise corporate tax rates so hell no. Biden (especially Harris) will use the government for their pet projects at the expense of taxpayers. Not to mention state and local trends to follow suit in blue states/cities. BIDEN IS TERRIBLE FOR THE ECONOMY.

Pretty sure American Airlines got a PPP loan...aka bailout and look! They are still going to lay people off. And maybe you should re-read the comment you replied to because the OP never once stated the '08 bailout wasn't bipartisan...

You mean going back to pre TCJA? Yes, because I know it works. We already did it

In a lot of ways, surprisingly yes. Not on every line item, though. For example, I think we should keep GLITI where it is, not do the book tax, and raise the threshold at which a limit on itemized deductions kicks in (400k isn't a ton of HH income in HCOL markets). I also think that the highest marginal tax rate should be at a separate bracket somewhere near 700k-1M, not kick-in at 400k. That's just me.
My other concern is, when faced with an opportunity to raise taxes, Pelosi / Dems in Congress won't be able to help themselves. They'll reach for more, and eventually it'll impact the middle class.

OP, I do! 100k isn't rick for a HCOL city like it might be in parts of middle America.
To do this practically would be impossible, but it would be nice if our tax code, social security, etc. etc. Had some sort of localized COL factor.
Why is the government entitled to more of my money?

You mean do I support corporations cutting jobs to make up for tax increases? Hell no
Rising Star
Corporations don’t cut off jobs if demand remains high for the product and labor is needed for the output.

100% support. Want to repeal the tax returns to the top 5% (> 400k in income) and introduce further tax credits for parents and first time homebuyers. Also like the idea of reinstating payroll tax for top 1% and capital gains tax for > 1mn income. We will need to money to strengthen healthcare and education for this country.
