Given what’s going on i wouldn’t be surprised if they shrank pro serv in coming months…

No, but this is how Twitter is no longer chaired by Bret Taylor and run by Parag Agarwal.
ProServ is still hiring. People who are billable and meeting utilization targets probably won’t be cut, because that directly cuts revenue. The beauty of ProServ is there is no question about how your value is measured.
ProServ people who aren’t selling and aren’t billing could get cut.
IBM1 - functional roles are often listed as “business” or “industry” or “experience” consultant/associate/principal, etc. Not sure what the change mgmt roles get listed as, but Salesforce calls it “human centered change”
I could see them cutting it

They already acquihired Acumen and Traction, which combined was over 2,000 people. As previously shown they are not profitable at present. If anything, they need to strip down a lot of useless management layers/managers in that org, maybe wind down project work and get back to advisory/staff aug as before with a leaner group.
Proserv isn’t profitable because SFDC throws in a lot of free services. If you’re billable I don’t see any reason why you’d be laid off…Just don’t make sense
There are not enough large projects with SF and neither their ProServ is mature enough to handle large projects but very good in advisory roles.
