No - why are you wanting to have to jobs or start your own practice? If it's a really good clinic I highly suggest you sign. And if you need another job, consider whether it's the right place!
Yes. Although I understand it's purpose, I believe your previous employer shouldn't hold anything against you after deciding to quit.
I treat it as a red flag. So yes, I turn them down. I just can't risk being jobless for a year after leaving a previous company.
