I recently interviewed with MITRE for a systems engineering role to make the move from Leidos where I feel underpaid for the work I do and for my experience ($85K). I have 4 YOE, a STEM degree, and soon will have a Masters Degree. I’m looking to make around $120K in the new role at Mitre. Does anyone have any insight into comp there? This would be in the DC metro area. Does $120K seem reasonable or am I dreaming?
I'm curious what the average salary is for an Associate Agent. I'm licensed & do everything after the sale is made as well as refer new business. I have 14 years in the industry but have been at the current company less than a year, so I know that plays a part as well. Anyone in a like-position by chance?State Farm Allstate Travelers

AFS - if I do my self input on my FY22 goals and submit to manager for a review this week since my project ended, what do I do in May when I have a different project? Will the same fy22 form get submitted with me adding more self input to it or do I make a different copy of that original form and reconcile somehow?Accenture

AFS does pay less than Accenture. Is you’re talking about an actual analyst (CL11) level role, that sounds quite high. As far as I’m aware, there isn’t much negotiating when it comes to the entry level (CL12 & 11) roles
As AFS1 just said it def has more job security at AFS. But the pay is lower due to the rates for the gov roles you’re filling. I was making 98k at CL9 (I think senior consultant it was 2 years ago and I’ve already forgotten haha) and I know I was a bit underpaid for DC for my experience but I knew people who only made 90k at the same level. The range was broader than I realized with some making like 110k. Again for CL9 in tech in AFS. They seemed pretty strict back then with salary bands too. I got a much higher offer elsewhere and they wouldn’t budget at all since they said it wouldn’t be fair to others at the same level.
AFS does pay less. I found that when I worked at AFS and deloitte federal. Gov work is lower salary. Do you know what CL level you would be coming in at? If true analyst as someone else said, that would be rather high at least for the DC area where I am.
It depends on what level they are offering you. If Analyst 85-95k is fine to ask for assuming you have any relevant experience. If Senior Analyst I'd probably go more for 90-100k assuming you have like 1-2 YOE
That’s so true. My program was one of the largest accounts but they were very top heavy with managers and above and didn’t promote as many people as you’d expect for such a big account. The leadership also all changed after my first year sadly and all the great leaders I had been working with were dispersed to other projects or left the company. And slowly my coworkers quit or requested a new project so I should’ve seen it all as a sign to move myself but I stuck with the project another year before leaving completely. Started off as one of my favorite programs though ha
