Does anyone else deal with extreme fluctuating levels of energy from day to day? Some days I am so lazy and don't have the motivation to complete any of my professional or personal tasks. Other days I feel like I can't be stopped and I want to set a new personal best record for how much I can get done in one day. I wish I could find a steady middle ground where I was able to complete a normal/healthy amount of work each day.

Career advice that I give to the people I manage- do one more thing everyday that you weren’t going to do or didn’t feel like doing- for your team or for your client. Could be notes, a follow up, a reminder, raising your hand to tackle and drive something-whatever. That little extra effort against something you didn’t “have” to do, every day, overtime will make you invaluable

Looking for advice... 5 months ago I went from Higher Education (HE) Law Firm. I was so excited to move on and was offered about $16K more in my salary.

Today I find myself not excited about my current job and since the firm is much smaller than my last job in HE I feel like there is less growth opportunities. My TC has fluctuated (currently around 135K CAD), but it seems like it's relatively easy to breach the 100K bar, but hard to breach the 150K bar. I now work at the CBC, but I have worked in the private sector too. Hello all. My company just went through an acquisition and the company did some restructuring of job titles. When they did this we were all advised the company would be making sure our jobs pay aligned with the national average.
My issue with this is my job title went from a Technical Support Supervisor to a Customer Success Team Lead. I have voiced my concerns with management but have been advised job titles are semantics. In my eyes this is a demotion, and will affect how much my job is worth.
