How many pages is your resume/CV?
When is a 3 page resume acceptable?
Hello!
I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at Google (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.
Is this common at Google ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.

Personally I don’t practice much aside from some company/role research. In my experience, it can be better to sound organic/genuine as opposed to scripted (overprepared). This works if you don’t lie on your resume, can articulate your thoughts/experiences naturally, and understand why you want the role.
Same - I know how to tell my “story” without prep. It should be a natural conversation.. and if it’s not, it’s a sign I likely won’t do well there anyway and should move on.
1-2hr a few days before the interview, to mentally update my 'stories' since starting my most recent job. This should be done before/while updating Resume as well.
Then 1hr the night before or a few hours before the interview, to refresh myself on those stories.
Practice? Y'all talking 'bout PRACTICE??
1 or so right before.
For one interview on in general. Not counting the case prep or presentations, resume updates etc, I probably only prep 3-5 hours for the entire rounds of interviews (all company's, all positions, all rounds). But this is 5th company so I've had a decent amount of interview practice throughout the years and I'm pretty confident in explaining my work experience since I've been at it for several years and literally have to explain what I do to clients and colleagues on different project types.
Practice as much as you need to be comfortable.acheduke your interviews so you're sort of safety job interviews are first. Practice with a friend if you have to.
Thanks all. I guess I have been practicing not saying we as much as I and trying to refresh on a lot of the projects since I don’t remember some of the more specifics like metrics we used to come up with a hypothesis
For the rounds of Amazon interviews, I must’ve prepared over 120 hrs over 3 weeks
I’m still waiting, final round end of last week
I practice by bombing interviews from openings I don't care about.
