This new year, I'm planning to build muscle and loose weight while being a vegetarian.
Any tips from those who have focused on weight loss and lean muscle gain (ninja warrior types) at the same time for a 2-3 month horizon?

Depends on your starting fitness level. For a 2-3 month regimen as a total beginner, you may not see many results because your nervous system & muscles are still adapting to this new stimulus; you should aim to give your body as many nutrients (veggie protein and creatine) as possible. If what you are aiming for is body recomposition, it is possible with strict discipline: you will need to monitor your macros & your exercise regimen closely. With dietary restrictions, you add an additional layer of complexity which will make it more challenging to meet your macro requirements.

If you’re advanced, then you’re good to go. Body recomp is the most successful for returning athletes/newbies. If you are just looking to lose fat and maintain your current level of fitness, cardio & low calorie intake (considering your TDEE) is your friend. Good luck!!! You can do it 😁😁

Good for you! You can definitely do it, watch game changers on Netflix for some inspiration! I am vegan and do pilates everywhere which has really helped me to maintain a healthier diet of fruits, vegetables, grains and legumes and pilates has really built muscle for me, made me stronger and feel better mentally! Highly recommend, it is good for all fitness levels! I also created a meal booklet for busy people if you'd like a copy I am happy to share, send me a message with a good email to send it to!

Does anyone else suffer with paralysis? Mine is so bad I don’t even know what to do anymore. In example, something as simple as responding to a text with a heart and a “happy thanksgiving to you too” was all I needed to do and I didn’t. Now it’s Sunday and I feel awful responding so late. I’m procrastinating with life errands and feeling the burn. I do the biggest bare minimum at work and I’m pretty sure people are started to notice. Everything is making my anxiety and overthinking worse.

I desperately need help/guidance from someone, I tried going to some therapists but they just emphasize antidepressants.

Below are my thoughts rn: Man, I’m 28 and such a bum. I work a job I hate, I have no social circle. I have never had a gf. All these things are so challenging because I’m autistic. I’ve had a nagging headache the last few weeks but not bad enough to take OTC meds. The last four days or so it has gotten worse and I’m now taking Aleve or IB Profen which haven’t helped much. What do you do to automate you lifestyle/remove decision fatigue to reach your health and fitness goals? For example: I meal prep so I know calories and macros of all my meals without having to count each time M-F (unless going out with friends/SO) and I run first thing in the morning the same 4 days every week. I’ve found that making healthy habits a part of my lifestyle and routines makes them easier to stick to and would love any additional ideas!
