Best AA meetings in NYC??
I frequently get to the end of the day having consumed only coffee and energy drinks.
I never eat lunch. But the worst thing is that I forget to drink literally anything at all. Sometimes I don’t pee until after dinner. Like…that’s so bad. I’m constantly horrified at myself when I realize, but I never feel thirsty and I never feel hungry.
We will hate ourselves when we give ourselves kidney stones.

Story of my life. I literally just hired a trainer a few weeks ago and part of his job is daily meal check ins to remind me to eat. Yet somehow, despite constantly forgetting and being on 60mg of adderall ive still managed to *gain* weight. Life’s cruel.
Yes. All the time. I have Alexa remind me it’s lunchtime and then have a couple other reminders set throughout the day to eat/hydrate. Also reminders to get up and stretch/go for a walk, bc you know, hyper fixation lol

Other end of the spectrum- I’m fat from using foods for stimulus. Higher dosage helped, but then I can’t sleep for shit.
I wish. I keep gaining weight despite the Adderall. Set a recurring alarm on your phone!
Eating heavier later in the day is definitely a cause, probable that it’s the time the meds are wearing off so appetite starts to kick in. Also, when we are finally home, relaxed and able to decompress, our bodies/brain can finally alert and process that we need fuel, which can lead to binging.
I am in a similar “ nah, maybe later” mentality lately as well, whereas in my past I was extremely disciplined when “dieting.” Just trying to give myself grace and make smarter food choices when I can, but also enjoy the goodies I enjoy ❤️ I know when I’m mentally ready, I will re-implement a diet.
Same here. Whenever I go down the rabbit hole with my tasks, I can't think of anything other than work. I just can't intervene because it would be difficult for me to achieve that much focus and concentration again.
LA1, I tell my husband this all the time!! I’m like, dude, don’t slow my roll. I’ll never get it back. Haha
Yes. I force myself to have a least a protein bar or salad for lunch. I can always eat something light and its easy enough to keep protein bars or trail mix in my desk.
growing up, i was always so tired and sleepy after eating lunch. so, i learned to skip it and eat a snack if i'm really hungry.
Everyday. My assistant has taken to reminding me every single day and making sure I eat.
I have a snack drawer at my desk and I'm constantly pulling food out of it just for stimulus which is why I'm never too hungry to have a proper meal at lunch. I just eat a big dinner when I get home.
Yeah, almost every day. On busy days, I'd forget to eat meals the entire day. My body would just feel all the stress, fatigue, and hunger when I'm already at home.
Pretty much every day. I’ve started setting reminders on my phone to eat a snack and lunch every work day.
