The waiting game is so ROUGH. I wish that companies would just reach out and let me know I am getting rejected. At least then I could move on.
Pro
Exactly. As more days pass, you know the chances of an offer are getting smaller, but you still hold out some hopes and just want some kind of closure instead of silence.
The waiting is always the worst part. Just sitting there constantly hitting refresh on your inbox waiting for an email that takes way too long to come, and is usually an automated rejection when it does. I'd love more transparency too. Any transparency, for that matter. Not banking on it happening though.

Couldn’t agree more. Most of the time, all we’re really looking for is some closure, and if they can offer any feedback, which is incredibly rare. that would be even more helpful.
Pro
Yup. The process is rough

I have to stop myself from constantly following up. I am so impatient

I almost feel like if you’re not one of the top few candidates, recruiters don’t even bother responding, even when you follow up, at least based on my experience.
