Does anyone have a list of questions they ask when evaluating a new company during an interview at a Director level? I feel like I have a good set, but now again I’ve landed into a shitshow and I wonder how to avoid it.

I recently had an initial interview for a technical recruiter position. The guy on the phone stated that this is not a 9-5 job and long hours are expected. I proceed to ask how much PTO is offered and he said that is not recommend within the first 6 months of working and the harder you work the more PTO you receive. I was expecting an in-band promotion this year but I didn't get it. How can I raise this to the leaders?

Is it ok for a company to bill their client $175/hr but pays their PM $50/hr? I understand there are benefits and office expenses included in the $175, but the PM does not have any benefits and only 401k.

Any advice on asking for a raise? Thinking about asking for one at the end of the summer. That’ll make a year and a half at my company. And I’ve produced 2 campaigns so far, plus one off work. Hopefully by end of summer I’ll have made something else. My only point as to why I deserve a raise is the amount of hours I work though :/
