Thanks EY1 - i expected something more along those lines for myself, def wasn't expecting a case. Supposedly just two more steps in the process for me though (case then PPED interview) and its moving pretty quickly so far, knock on wood...
How are you applying to the other team? Is t the same office? Normally to transfer teams it's just a couple of coffee catch ups or informal conversations about your project experience and goals for the future. Then you usually get staffed on a project with that team and the rest is history.
Applying to an office in another country so this actually requires leaving US firm and being hired by the other firm, not an internal transfer (e.g., from one competency to another in National Advisory)
OP I transferred to the US PI practice from another country's office. The process for me was interview with a director of recruiting (very informal - minor project experience - mostly talking about why I wanted to move); interview with 2 partners (15 minutes project experience and background - 15 minutes conversing about my country and why I was planning to move - super casual). The entire process took about 9 months from starting to interview to having my visa stamped and flying over.
E1 where did you transfer from?
