I signed up for a trial membership. It's great if you fly United often since they give you up to 8% off fares. That's all I really used it for since I already have status with hotels and any discounts that are available, I usually have comparable discounts through other means.

Used to have it for the Caesar’s Diamond Status which waived resort fees, got you free/discounted rooms in Vegas, $100 annual dining credit, and access to Diamond lounges for drinks and appetizers. Diamond status also used to get you 4 free nights at Atlantis in the Bahamas. Once they started cutting benefits and Covid happened I dropped my membership.

Hi guys, hcl offered me E3 band , consultant position for its GCP practice. How’s is the project ? Any idea ? My joining is next week.

I’m hosting family from America in my home in Europe this week. Being away for just a couple of years has made me really aware of American tendencies. They’re fat and literally are only always thinking of their next meal. We can eat, and they want to talk about dinner. They always complain about their knees and feet even though they’re also only in their mid thirties. I’ve decided to no longer host friends/family from America because it’s always like this 🤦🏼‍♂️ 🫃🏼

This one is for folks on h1b visa. So at time when you have an offer in hand(not accepted the offer yet and h1b transfer process not yet begun) while you are working with your current employer, do you even speak to your employer about your new offer to see if they make a counter offer?
Is there a risk involved with this approach assuming your current employer doesn't provide you with a counter offer and they ask you to leave immediately (and your h1b visa hasn't been transferred either)

Lyft driver delayed picking me up 30 min, resulting in me canceling my ride and asking hotel to call me a “yellow taxi” to get to the airport because it was 5am and all ubers/lyfts were 15 min. Specifically said yellow. Hotel calls me a private lux SUV and the driver got out of the car to handshake the man who called and said hi (honestly money couldve been passed). I then get hit with a $180 ride. Marriott website says taxi should be $65. Should I complain or let it go?

CSP
Marriott Bonvoy Boundless
Citi double cash
