Keen are great if you’re on your feet all day
1+ for keen. I think my keen safety boots are the Most comfortable shoes I own
You’ll ask 10 different people and get 12 different opinions. So here’s mine, I swear by Red Wing. One of few boots I’ve had that last and I wasn’t searching for something else immediately after using them. Very nice your company pays for them, adds up really fast over the years.
Red wing excellent
When I had to wear boots for work I was pretty partial to Redwing and Ariat
In manufacturing industry, we were always provided a discount on safety shoes. The most comfortable brand that I came across was TIMBERLAND PRO. These were "composite" toe (lighter weight alternative compared to steel, but just as effective). These shoes also were certified for electrical use and nonslip applications. All day comfort, great cushioning and these had a wider & higher toe box so your feet didn't get pinched by the composite metal.
Had my Timberland Pro boots for 5 years. Used in harsh environments and they are still fully intact and very comfortable even on a 14 hour + day.
Blundstone makes a very comfortable boot.
Use caterpillar
I like my carhartts but if you’re going to be standing for more than 4 hours straight get redwings or thorogoods. Sole inserts also help
The Irish Setter line from Red Wing are the most comfortable and hold up very well. just my 2 cents
The Red Wings I have work quite well.
I have these Reebok ones that look like running shoes but are steel toes and I love them compared to the big heavy boots.
My big heavy boots after a long day on the job would leave me physically exhausted. Now that is not an issue and I can enjoy my day when I clock out too.
I like the Keen or Reebok brands. I also like to put in the Dr. Sholls comfort inserts.
Keen. This is what I wear:

Low tops but can choose high tops if you want. I like these because they are comfortable and they have bungy-cord laces with a lock on them so no laces to come untied.
Yes I am using Steel toed Safety Shoes
Brand VOLT1 TOWORKFORT
Where I am, people swear by Doc Martins.
Wore those. Hated them. They are NOT comfortable.
Uvex is a good brand
I really like my rebocks, or however you spell it. They are comfortable and look nice. Not boots though if that’s what hat you’re going for.
For any ladies out there... Xena Workwear is a brand of shoes for women in the field. Not only are they sturdy and well made, they're also very fashionable. Lots of different styles and covers all safety ratings.
Pro
I loved my Ariat boots
Red Wing is the best. I'd also highly recommend purchasing insoles for any boot you buy. Your feet will thank you.
It depends on the company. I've been required to wear steel toes at one company, safety shoes at another and safety shoes with tarsal protectors at another.
