Does anyone here have experience with non-traditional PA jobs? I'm mostly looking for something that would allow me to work a schedule that aligns with my kid's school schedule.

I’ve been working in telemedicine for the past year, and it’s been a great fit for my family. The flexibility is amazing—I can schedule my consultations around my kid’s school hours. It’s not as hands-on as traditional PA roles, but if you’re looking for work-life balance and a non-traditional setup, telemedicine is worth exploring.

I shifted into healthcare consulting after several years as a PA, and it’s been a game-changer. The hours are much more flexible, and a lot of the work can be done remotely. It’s a different pace, but I still get to use my medical expertise in a strategic way.
