Does this company really process my Visa.
They did not asked me any money for processing visa.
However they are taking time to process the same.

Question to immigrants with parents overseas. I have a job offer from Meta and awaiting my H1B transfer approval notice. I have never received an H1B visa stamp before. I want to work from India (& get H1 stamped with Meta based on offer letter+approval notice) during my notice period, followed by 2 weeks of unemployment, and start my new job at Meta once I return to the US.

I work with someone who always makes subtle digs at my code. Like they’ll say good job… and then they’ll say there’s space to refactor/improve code quality and we can handle that later. I get that you can always improve code but it’s so irritating. Any advice?

What would u do? 3 YOE HCOL city and I have 2 potential options:
1) move to a boutique healthcare strategy consulting firm in a similar role as I have now (client facing consulting role).. 120-130 base + 20% bonus
2) a product specialist role at Meta (FB). This told role product management, it’s analytics heavy. $107k base, 10% bonus, $30K stock.

At the end of the day, TC for both is similar. As far as exit opportunities I’m not sure what is better, so looking to get other people’s opinions.

Tier 2 MBA colleges and growth dilemma

At most companies your CTC is decided based on which tier your college is classified under. Most of the times even with a really high experience and stellar performance you won’t be able to match CTCs of freshers from Tier 1 colleges.
