Hi all, I have a question regarding retirement accounts. I am not sure if I should choose a Roth or 401k (company has 4+2% match). Currently 23, base salary is ~100k and investments have brought 45k this year which has me teetering between a 22-24% tax bracket. Wondering what the usual tax bracket is of people retired (around 65yo) as I’m not sure anything would bring in significant income with the exception of investments. In my case would a Roth make sense? Appreciate any answers!!

Just had a hearing on my motion to compel where OC told the judge we hadn’t conferred before filing the motion. Not only did I attempt to confer on 3 separate dates, I attached the emails and his response that he refused to confer to my motion. Judge didn’t care, as soon as she heard him say we hadn’t conferred she denied the motion. Not asking a question, just needed to vent.

Would Case and Point be the best use of my time to prep for cases, if I’ve never seriously done cases before? Hey everyone. Has anyone started working in disaster recovery after college and made the move straight to consulting? Currently in my 2nd year doing disaster recovery and I feel like it’s a dead-end career. I’m Looking to join a Big4 firm. I graduated in Finance.

Need a good recommendation for a home office chair. I work from home a lot and need a new chair. My new one isn’t cutting it for me- it’s not comfy and I have lower back pain.

I think I saw this once before, but does anyone have the link to a spreadsheet with the career level equivalents across firms? I.e Manager at Accenture is equivalent to Y at XYZ firm?

Do you all write cover letters for job apps (where they require one) like how you would write an ‘our understanding’ section of a proposal to a client? I.e. some soulful understanding of the hiring firm’s place in the universe, reasoning of what their needs are to succeed and put them in a position of greatness etc, and why you are uniquely qualified?

Or just keep it simple?
