Hi! I am planning on climbing, hiking, and wfh in Boulder, Co this summer. Anyone know of any temporary housing? Also open to meeting people, so dm me if you live there and want to hang out.
Has anyone here worked with a team of remote engineers in Eastern Europe? Anything I should be aware of in terms of cultural differences or behavioral norms? I’m US-based
Back in the day, I did my own PR, sales & marketing for whatever business idea I was running with at the time. What’s a good remote sales opportunity I can do anywhere in the world that won’t be painful or too high touch? Where I can use my social & business skills (markets, law, cloud, publishing, media, logistics, algos, social media, books, ebooks, design, podcasting, marketing, press release writing, voiceover, journalism) to earn a few extra shillings?
Whats good work from home reimbursement?
Is EY gds allowing permanent wfh option? Has anyone heard from respective team lead of such news

Hi, I’m looking to intern/volunteer/freelance WFH; My background is in Communication and Digital Media: I also can assist you with admin tasks. FYI I speak Spanish, in case you need to translate docs.
Do you think firms will update expense policies to allow for reimbursable overtime meals in the remote environment (rather than only allowing reimbursement for meals consumed on site)?
Need more comfortable bras - ladies, what wireless bras or brands do you recommend? Small breasts here and wfh got me used to the no bra life 🤩 Now I hate going out because I have to “bra the f up” lol. What bras can I buy that are as comfortable as not wearing them?
Wow. I could never work from home full time. I had Waffle House to go for breakfast and cookies and bourbon for lunch.
Any ideas on fun team bonding events/games to improve culture in a new remote tech startup? Very small team with long work hours, we are trying to build a people culture but hard because we can’t see much of peoples personalities through Zoom meetings much.
Hi guys, I am a technical architect with more than 13 yoe in infosys. This is posted from a friends profile as i am not able to access my account. My current CTC is 16.I have an offer from a start up for 36lpa. Given the current market craze, I am wondering what to ask ITC infotech during my upcoming HR discussion. Heard even though the offer is for bangalore location, ITC is allowing WFH. Please suggest. Thanks, Siddhartha
I am doing something I have never done before, but these are extraordinary times, and call for extraordinary measures. So...looking for “a few good men” that can hold a conversation as we WFH.
WFH monday nap intiated. 💤
Are you guys working remotely? How do you think this will affect us? Will executives find we are no longer essential? I’m happy we are WFH but am nervous our jobs will be the first cuts made.
Remote work opportunities? I'm looking for firms to look into. Currently in health. I think this will be disruptive (given we can't be on site... and my firm isn't used to delivering remotely).
Working remotely from Canada on tourist visa? I am planning to take a 15 day trip to Canada from US but most of that time I will be at my relatives place and not going out much. I was thinking I'll work from there for a week and take rest off? Tourists are generally not authorized to work but this is remote work and my employer has no offices in Canada.
Don't think I did as well on Kellogg interview as I hoped 😞 it's my top choice by far so feeling a bit disappointed
I’m supposed to roll off next week because my work stream is ending so I pinged an md and said I’m free for a new project in a week. Today, I’m reading the new sow and I find out that the project is keeping me on a few more weeks. Pretty messed up that I wasn’t told about this in person. Do I have to stay?
Merged my account this morning. Quite a sentimental moment to delete my SPG app. Bye bye you purple little guy
I also have a JD and have been asked to take on roles/tasks of paralegal/associate. How do I turn that into a raise at my annual review without seeming greedy?
F, just got rolled off & having a hard time feeling like it’s not bc I challenged M Mgr. Have seen him disrespect F Mgr in front of the team and make her visibly upset. Feels sexist. First proj @ D. ☹️
Help me predict when I’ll get the GC. Filed AOS, EAD, AP, medical together I-131, I-765, I-485 receipts in early Oct 2021 I-140 not yet approved Nebraska center ROW
I'm struggling to establish boundaries on my project. I get new work assigned at 6pm most days and I'm told they need done by the next day. I start at 7am everyday. Anyone have advice on what I can say to leadership? I seriously can't be working 7am to 11pm every day, my personal life/family is really taking a huge hit. I don't mind the occasional long day, but consistent 14-15 hour days aren't gonna fly anymore.
How does ZS compare to PWC Healthcare in terms of project work, work/life, and pay for a new hire out of undergrad?
When did you feel like you were successful? People around me think it’s impressive that I work at Deloitte; however, I’m miserable and hate the work I’m doing. Just accepted another job that others would deem a dream company and salary but I’m just afraid of being miserable there too. I just don’t feel like I’m good enough, will be happy, or be in a position where I feel like I’m successful as others.
Checked in at Ritz at 10.45 pm, room had some loud background noise or echo. Called front desk to report and they sent an engineer. Engineer came and said this noise is too loud let me tell (cont)
Taking my last part of the CPA exam this Friday and getting extremely anxious. Any tips to ease the anxiety?
Leaving for a new firm and the pay raise will mean that I’m above the contribution limits for both Traditional and Roth IRA’s. Where do I put my money now? (Already max 401(k)
Does anybody have any tips about finding and working with recruiters? Right now I’m applying on my own but am considering reaching out to some headhunters end of June. I am afraid of dealing with people that are pushy and only in it for the hiring commission. What was your experience like working with headhunters?
If a firm (for e.g. PwC with MF Global) loses a pending law suit, are layoffs inevitable?
If a firm sent you free tech for WFH (monitors, docking station, keyboard, and mouse), are you obligated to return it once you leave? Obviously will return the laptop, but was wondering if it’s normal/expected to keep everything else. Insights appreciated! (Relatedly: laterals, do your new firms send you stuff or give you a stipend for your home office? Assuming at least partial remote for now)
Having a hard time figuring out where to buy a long term house. We both work in the city, and have a kid. We want decent space (is a yard too much to as for?), good schools, nice town, walking distance to the train. Yes - I’m hoping unicorns do exist. So far something like Bronxville and Scarsdale seem like good options. Open to checking out other towns in any region as long as the commute to Bryant park is close to an hour. Any suggestions?
