I do this every year for my long term clients and my best collaborators. It serves two purposes, to let the folks I work with know how much I appreciate them and to help me re-evaluate those relationships periodically.
No - just a hand written note about what I enjoy about working with them and it’s specific to their interests and efforts. It takes a bit of time so I limit the cards to 30. These are the folks who I enjoy and whose presence in my practice make it a pleasure to practice and, for the collaborators, whose knowledge and expertise make the product better.
Ive done this before!
No just a specific message tied to the individual- enjoyed working on x case with you and look forward to working together more closely in the new year or w.e
I only see handwritten Christmas cards sent to clients of smaller firms these days.
Makes sense. I don’t think I would send cards to firm clients but more so an acquaintance at a different firm/practice area who referred a client to me.
As a client, please don’t send me a card. I don’t even like birthday cards unless there’s green in them.
They go on the back of my door to add holiday spirit along with all the child xmas cards I get from fam and friends!
I send Christmas cards to the friends that are more than Facebook friends, but not the friends you text and call with very often. It’s a good way to maintain relationships.
